chapter 14.
When paddle was in lake Superior there was an icy storm The waves were taller than a house. Ice covered a big ship and when it hit the rocks it broke in half. The men were saved by the Coast Guard and paddle rested safely on the beach.

chapter 12.
Paddle got caught in a fisherman's net. While the fishermen cleaned the fish paddle slipped through a hole in the dock back into the water.
Chapter 13
Paddle was sometimes washed ashore by waves and then sent to sea again by storms. During that time wolves & foxes were hunting for food. They waited for the waves to toss fish on thes shore. It was Fall.

Chapter 11
Paddle traveled from the North shore to the West shore. He drifted to a shipping dock. The trains were unloading ore that stained everything red.

Chapter 10
Paddle landed in a marsh. There was lots of wildlife. When the rain fell the water came up and spilled paddle into Lake Superior again.
Chapter 9
Boats were making giant waves which made paddle go up and down. Paddle left Canada and entered the United States.

Chapter 8
Paddle went from a river to a bay and then into Lake Superior. It is the largest lake in the world!
